Assiniboine Credit Union River Trail and Arctic Glacier Winter Park are now CLOSED
Take in the picturesque sights of Winnipeg as you’ve never seen it before, from the frozen Assiniboine and Red Rivers. Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on the Guinness record-holding longest naturally frozen skating trail in the world: walking, curling, hockey, family activities, historic interpretation, cycling, broomball, and more. We also offer special programming for the whole family every weekend free of charge.
The Warming Hut: An Art + Architecture Exposition on Ice
Five imaginative warming huts - created by a team of renowned artists and architects were placed along the Assiniboine Credit Union River Trail. The competition will be back in 2011. More information is available at www.theforks.com/40/330/163.
