I came to this website hoping to find a list of shops, services, restaurants and other attractions currently located at The Forks but I didn't find any such list.

You might want to consider putting up a list of all participating merchants so vistors can determine if the item or service they are seeking is available at The Forks.

Even a "long shot" hit might invite a personal visit which might lead to other "impulse" buying - something that vendors really like!

I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I visited The Forks two years ago and just fallen in love with it. We are hoping to bring our friends along for the trip soon to share the fun with us. The food was outstanding and love the variety from around the globe. Beautiful spot and definitely a nice place for an afternoon excursion. Got some lovely pictures from the day!

One major negative was the Beachcombers Restaurant. The service (despite there only being 2 tables in the restaurant) was terribly slow and not very good, food took nearly an hour and some orders were wrong. Highly recommend avoiding this restaurant, but everything else was lovely!

Family friendly, inexpensive, lots of free parking, great trails and nice people. We enjoyed watching the kids on the skateboards and bikes.

Congratulations on building upon the umbrella group created by the Archaeological Dig that began to bring a alive the past for all whom had a chance to dig with Sid Kroeker. I was one of the first members of the umbrella group. I am happy to see that my vision which was shared by Al Baronas, Rob Gillespie, Sid Kroeker and others for an overall foundation has been attained 15 years after the initial dig began. I have just returned from the Arctic in the past year and I hope to enjoy many days at The Forks once again.

The Forks is very nice, I notice on your description of it that six thousand years ago "someone" thought it was a good meeting place?......Historically, was it not where the aboriginal people would meet for trading goods/fur?....I just found that description was not acurate in recognizing the true purpose of that location...Thanks.

I love the forks either visiting or shopping & food services,I really do think that the webcam service was a major service as well as there are many who are housebound who could make use of its scanning abilities to see our great city scape and feel present at the forks in this way, even people from outside of winnipeg love this idea.!! I hope that this service returns soon maybe even an upgrade of sorts?? I always enjoy the entertainment at the forks and especially the buskers who add their flavor as well

If your family is still in the city, we would highly recommend that you review the bicycle services currently offered at the Forks site. The owners are exceptional hosts and should be able to provide services that your family would enjoy in the Park. If your family members are die hard Segway fans and they are in the “let down” mode….I would suggest giving us a call directly and maybe we can set-up a one night stay with the Inn at the Forks and pick-up your crew for a private outing? For the rest of you reading this…sorry but our tour services are not back until 08 at a location to be announced.

I love the Forks but where are the Segways???
A friend of mine went on a Segway tour with her family last summer and they have been talking about it ever since. I have some family coming for a summer visit from the Netherlands and I told them about these Segways and how we could go on a tour of the Forks. Are they gone for good? Does anyone know if they're coming back or if they're doing these kind of tours somewhere else this summer? How can I get ahold of the people that run these? Can anyone help???? Thanks!

wow im so glad that they still use the skatepark in the summer as a snowboarding park . as a girl who skateboards and snowboards this is an amazaing place to jsut go hangout and hopfully meet some new friends who skate and snowboard. Im really excited for the skatepark to reopen. it would be even cooler if they had a place to wakeboard. but you cant have everyhting right.

i love the forks skate park its awesome. i may not be a skater but im a bmxer and me and my friends love it. i got hurt at the skate park and needed surgury. i dont want you guys to put a time limit casue it will be to packed after that. and there should be more celebs that go there.:P but the forks is really cool. cant wait to go the this summer again!!!

I think that the Forks is Marvellous. I cannot believe that there is so much diversity in one place. You can try so many foods and shop in so many different stores. From Aboriginal to the beach! I did find however, some of the storekeepers upstairs were a little rude!?! bad day??

I love visiting the forks, because it is a safe environment. The forks market place is an excellent place for food and entertainment. Also the forks has beautiful site seeing and is a great place for Parkour for any treceurs out there.

I went to the Forks looking for the Segway on Canada Day but no one at the Forks knew where they were. After spending 4 hours in a wheelchair (because I have trouble walking around places like the Forks) looking for them and asking everyone ,I went home disappointed that I had not found them. As this is of an interest to a lot of people it would be nice if the Forks let people who work at the Forks know where they are so that people could find them.

I will go back on a less crowded day and try to find them as I am very interested in seeing how they work.
