Bibliography
This site provides a partially annotated Bibliography of planning and research resources for The Forks and The Forks National Historic Site of Canada and related materials from nearby areas, 1979 to present.

Use of Abbreviations and Resource Categories
The resource category is indicated in brackets at the end of each entry, along with the resource location. If the resource is other than an article or section of a larger work, the total number of pages is listed in parentheses directly after resource category (#pp.).
The abbreviations at the end of each bracketed entry offer suggested locations of where the resource may be found. In the particular case of Parks Canada, the abbreviation may be preceded by “on file”(“on file at PC”), indicating that the resource is only in electronic format internally at Parks Canada. Copies of some resources may be found elsewhere not indicated here.

Location of Artifact Collections
Artifact collections relating to The Forks National Historic Site of Canada and the Upper Fort Garry gateway are housed at Parks Canada, Western and Northern Service Centre. Collections relating to The Forks, Bonnycastle Park, Main Street and most adjacent properties are at the Manitoba Museum. Any remaining collections are held by the Historic Resources Branch, Winnipeg.
