The Forks

In keeping with the area’s railway history, The Forks Visitor Services can be found in a restored caboose and a candy store, Sugar Mountain Express, is also located in a restored rail car.

Historic Union Station, just steps away from the main Forks site,  is where you can find The Winnipeg Railway Museum featuring the Countess of Dufferin, the first steam locomotive on the Canadian Prairies, plus a number of vintage rail cars and cabooses.
