This report summarizes the history of land use of Upper Fort Garry and surrounding area with descriptions of structures built during the following time frames: Upper Fort Garry 1835-1850 and 1850-1880; Upper Fort Garry Land Use 1880-1900, 1900-1920 and 1960-Present. Maps, diagrams and tables facilitate the discussion. Areas are identified in which there is potential for intact heritage resources to be recovered. *
