Sign Up

To sign up for monthly parking please visit our office as a monthly parking agreement must be completed. For your convenience, you can download, print, complete and sign our Online Parking Contract ahead of time.

Payment Methods

For your convenience we do pre-authorized payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or direct withdrawal. For direct withdrawal please provide us with a Void cheque. For your records, we send monthly statements via email.

Monthly Parking Cancellation Policy

We require a full calendar month’s written notice to cancel your monthly parking. Notice given at any time during the month will be cancelled effective as of the last day of the following month. We accept written notice via email, by fax, and in person.

Waiting Lists

Generally we are able to accommodate all new monthly parkers, however, occasionally the parking lots do fill. If the parking lot of your choice is full, we will place you on a waiting list for the next available stall, and/or we will try to find you an interim stall in a nearby location with availability.

Decal/Access Card Deposits

All monthly parkers must display a valid decal in their windshield while parked on the lot. If you use more than one vehicle, you must remember to transfer the decal. A $20 refundable deposit is required when the decal is issued. If the decal is damaged or broken, please return it to our office for a replacement at no charge. If the decal is lost, a replacement fee will be charged.

Some locations also require an access card for entry/exit. A $25 refundable deposit is required when the pass is issued. If the access card is damaged or broken, please return it to our office for a replacement at no charge. If the access card is lost, a replacement fee will be charged.

Violation Payment Options

  1. Credit card by phone, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express;
  2. Complete credit card information on reverse of violation and fax or mail in the enclosed envelope;
  3. Cheque or money order, made payable to “FNP Parking Ltd.” by mail in the enclosed envelope; or
  4. In person by cash, debit, cheque, money order, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

Breakaway Hockey Season Parking

Season parking passes are available in the underground parking lot at Portage Place Shopping Centre for hockey fans heading downtown this winter. The Breakaway Season Parking pass is valid after 4pm on game days, is transferrable, and costs $300.  The lot is equipped with three exit points onto Carlton Street, Vaughn Street, and Ellice Avenue. The express exits allow for a quick departure in a warm vehicle after a night out at the hockey game.

For those hockey fans not looking for a full season pass but still interested in enjoying the benefits of pre-paid indoor parking, FNP also has a limited number of Power Play Parking ten-packs at a cost of $90.

School Bus Parking

School bus parking is available to those attending events at The Forks. As we have a limited amount of stalls available, we will not be able to guarantee space for all events, so please call in advance to register your bus. Please provide us with the name of your school division, how many buses you will be sending, school bus numbers or license plates and the date and time you will be visiting. Bus parking is available in the gravel lot located at the northwest corner of York and Waterfront Drive (P117).

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What do I do if the meter is not working?
    Occasionally, a meter will malfunction. If this happens, please call our office to report the problem and give us your license plate number and make of vehicle so you will not receive a violation while the meter is being fixed. In most instances the meter will be back in service within 20 minutes of your call.
     
  2. I received a parking violation, which I do not think I deserve. What should I do?
    Call us and let us know what happened. We will need the violation number, your license plate number and the reason you are disputing the violation. We will be happy to review our policies with you and make any corrections if you have been unfairly ticketed.
     
  3. Do you tow if I don't pay my violations?
    A computer generated tow list is produced daily of those vehicles with multiple outstanding violations. If a vehicle is found on the lot without a valid parking receipt and is on the tow list, the vehicle may be impounded.
