Casinos of Winnipeg Salsa Sundays

Join us Sunday nights under the Canopy for the hot sounds of salsa and dance along with some of the city’s finest salsa dancers. Learn to salsa, participate in some cardio salsa and chacha and hear some of the best salsa bands in the city. Featuring live musical performances by Papa Mambo and Salsa Soprano.

Summer Art Program

Folklorama Kick Off at The Forks

Manitoba Lotteries Corporation presents Folklorama Kick-Off at The Forks
Take in the colourful display of Ambassadors from all 44 pavilions, and feel the rhythms of cultures from around the world. This multicultural extravaganza features international acts coming from as far away as China, Russia, El Salvador, and Paraguay. Gear up for the largest and longest running festival of its kind in the world – Folklorama runs August 3 to 16 at locations throughout the city.

Parks Canada Interpreter at Archaeological Dig

Archaeological Dig site | Everyday at 11-1pm and 3-5pm
Come see history as it is unearthed right here at the Forks! New discoveries are being unearthed every hour and Parks Canada Interpreters are there to show how the unearthed discoveries were used by Aboriginal people of the time.
