Privacy Practices

The Forks Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of its donors and other stakeholders. The Foundation values the trust of those we deal with, and of the public, and recognizes that maintaining this trust requires that we are transparent and accountable in how we treat the information shared with us.

During the course of our various projects, programs and activities, The Foundation may gather and use personal information. Anyone from whom we collect such information can expect it will be carefully protected. The Foundation’s privacy practices are designed to achieve this.

The Foundation reports specific details of its funds and donors to the public. This information will be printed in our annual report, which will also be available online on our website. Anonymity is available when requested.

Personal Information

Personal information is any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact a specific individual, such as their name, address, birth date, e-mail address and phone number. Your personally identifiable information will never be rented, sold or shared with any third party. As a regular course of business, it may be provided to third parties that provide us with contracted services (such as mail houses, designers or printers) for a task.

Our Privacy Practices

Personal information gathered by The Forks Foundation is kept in confidence. Foundation staff is authorized to access personal information based only on their need to deal with the information for the reason(s) for which it was obtained. We take measures to ensure the integrity of this information is maintained and to prevent it from being lost or destroyed.
