The Forks as a public space is open and following all of the latest COVID-19 protocols.


The Forks Market

The Forks Market is open. All current health restrictions are in place. Here's what you need to know to keep us open and everyone in accordance with the restrictions:

  • Building capacity is limited to 25%.
  • If we are at capacity, you may need to wait a few minutes to enter the building;
  • Mask use is mandatory indoors at all times unless you are eating or drinking;
  • You must be seated at a table to eat or drink;
  • Alcoholic beverages are only available if food has been ordered;
  • If you are seated to eat or drink you may remove your mask;
  • Your table can only contain members of your household, to a maximum of 5 people;
  • Contact tracers will gather your information if you are seated;
  • Hours are variable for most tenants;
  • There is no skate changing indoors this year. Please find a spot outside to do this;
  • Curbside pickup is still available.

Johnston Terminal

The Johnston Terminal and its tenants are open. Hours will vary by tenant.

Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Open at 25% capacity. ERA Bistro will remain closed until further notice. 

Inn at the Forks

The hotel remains open and spa appointments are available. SMITH takeout and delivery is available.

Please respect all current health guidelines, including gathering sizes, physical distancing and mask use where appropriate.

There are no indoor skate change areas and no skate rentals.

Benches are available to put on your skates. Please plan your visit accordingly.


Portions of The Centennial River Trail are now open for public skating, walking, biking and cross-country skiing. Additional portions will open as conditions permit.

Walk or skate the beautiful Arctic Glacier Winter Park, day or night. Lights and music greet you along the tree-lined paths. The Upper Trails are all open, providing 1.2km of walking and skating trails that link the CN Stage Rink and Canopy Rink.
