Stratigraphy and Features, Archaic Occupations at The Forks

A detailed description of the stratigraphy at the site is presented. The stratigraphy of the excavation area in general is described, as it is for distinct features at the site, which include pilings, post molds, hearths, and the occupation floors. Site disturbance is also discussed. Photographs depicting the stratigraphy are included.
