Charcoal and Seed Analysis, Archaic Occupations at The Forks

This chapter presents analysis of seeds and charcoal collected from water screens during the 1993 excavations. Deposition and preservation of the specimens is described, and the methodology of floatation, and soli, seed, and charcoal analysis are presented, along with the results for each specimen category.
