Birch Box | Herbal Tea Spa Workshop
Milena from Just the Goods will teach you about the many ways dried herbs and flowers can be combined to create a perfectly relaxing at home spa experience.
From rose to rosemary, lavender to licorice, did you know you can create beautiful skin care products at home using herbs you may already have in your kitchen?
With your choice of available botanical ingredients, create a custom blend that can be adapted for use as:
- Drinking tea
- Facial steam
- Face mask
- Bath tea and/or
- Bath salt
Participants will learn about the key features and uses of 10 commonly available organic herbs then create a personalized blend in an 8 oz glass jar during the workshop to take home and enjoy in any of the ways described above. Together we will explore the following:
- Calendula/marigold petals
- Chamomile flowers
- Green tea leaves
- Lavender petals
- Licorice root powder
- Parsley leaves
- Peppermint leaves
- Rooibos tea leaves
- Rosebuds
- Rosemary leaves
TICKETS: $25 available at https://birchboxprojects.org/workshops/diy-herbal-tea-spa
This year, we are donating the majority profits of this to IRCOM (Immigrant Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba) to enable them to bring music into their childcare program.
