Fashion Revolution at The Forks: Fashion Show & Clothing Swap
Fashion Revolution Winnipeg has partnered with Thrive Thrift Shop for a fashion show and clothing swap during Fashion Revolution Week. The event is part of Fashion Revolution Week—a global movement to bring consumers and the clothing industry together to ensure clothing is made safely, sustainably, and fairly. Purge your closets of clothing that no longer fits or your heart no longer adores. Bring your clothing, and bags to fill, to the swap and be prepared to have fun as you grab as much clothing to take home as you wish! Bring as much as you want. Take as much as you want!
Friday's event is a VIP experience where store volunteers show off their favorite outfits by modeling them in a fashion show. You'll also get exclusive access and first dibs on the clothes that are up for swapping. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds raised go to support the volunteer training program at Thrive Thrift Shop.
