Winnipeg Municipal Forum
With Winnipeg's civic election approaching, Storefront Manitoba is hosting a Municipal Forum. This moderated public conversation explores the issues shaping the city's future: safety, infrastructure, liveability, housing, and the public realm.
Journalist Mary Agnes Welch will moderate a panel of local design and planning voices: Desiree Theriault (Narratives), Maegan Courchene (Treaty One), Stephen Borys (Civic Muse), and Steve Boulton (Longboat Development).
The forum is a conversation, not a debate. City council and mayoral candidates will have reserved front-row seating and will be invited into each themed round using walk-around microphones. The evening is meant to be collaborative and to generate ideas, bringing together residents, designers, planners, and candidates to share perspectives on how Winnipeg can grow into a more liveable, equitable, and vibrant city.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. Click here to learn more about the event.
