Summer on the Festival Stage


PRIDE Winnipeg Festival

May 31 – June 1 | 12 pm - 6 pm both days
Make your way to The Forks on Saturday and Sunday for incredible live entertainment beginning at 1:30 pm on the main stage, featuring PRTY H3RO, Beverly McClennan, Thea Austin and Luciana. Meet community groups, businesses and local artisans in the Lambda PrideMART. Adults (18+) can quench their thirst at the beer tent, featuring Pride Winnipeg’s own Queer Beer. Children and families have their own place to play at the Manitoba Teachers’ Society KidZone, and two food vendor villages will make sure that no one goes home hungry!

APTN Aboriginal Day Live & Celebration

June 21 | 11 am – 11:30 pm
APTN hosts a day-long celebration with a variety of family-friendly activities. New this year, a PowWow and skateboarding competition both featuring cash prizes for all ages! Starting at 8pm some of the biggest names in Aboriginal music and television, including award-winning and up-and-coming artists will take the stage. Fireworks at 11pm (weather permitting). Canada Day at The Forks presented by Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries

July 1 | 12 pm – 10 pm
This is one national birthday party not to be missed. Family friendly activities all day long include, musicians, buskers, crafts and entertainment everywhere you look. Local talent fills The Forks with three stages of spectacular entertainment: Under the Canopy from 5:30 – 10:00pm, on the Railbridge from 1pm – 5:30pm and the Scotiabank Stage from 4pm – 11pm.

This year’s stellar Scotiabank Stage lineup includes Del Barber, Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. The evening closes with a captivating fireworks display at 11pm.


Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Folklorama Kick-Off

July 26 | 6 pm – 11 pm
Celebrate Folklorama’s 45th anniversary! Witness a cultural explosion with national and international performers moving to rhythms from around the world, and be a part of the global experience with Ambassadors from over 40 Folklorama pavilions. Gear up for the largest and longest running festival of its kind in the world. Folklorama runs August 3-16 at locations throughout Winnipeg. Fireworks at 10:45pm (weather permitting)
