The International Wine Festival of Manitoba Celebrates its 20th Anniversary
The Forks, Winnipeg – Fine wines, magnificent company, savoury cheeses, and great music await you at The Forks Market as the International Wine Festival of Manitoba celebrates its 20th anniversary. The three-day event kicks off on Friday, October 14th and runs through Sunday the 16th features wines from across the globe and is sure to offer something to please your palate.
The Forks will be updating Facebook and Twitter all weekend long to offer promotional prizes and gift certificates for wine tasting at the festival as part of the twenty year anniversary celebration.
“A lot has changed in the world over the last twenty years, but one thing that remains the same is our appreciation for enjoying delicious wines with great people. We are proud to be celebrating this benchmark anniversary,” say Mo Razik, owner of Fenton’s Wine Merchants and organizer of the Festival since its inception.
The festival will feature live jazz by local artists, seminars and wine experts will be on hand all weekend to offer suggestions and help as Festival goers discover the ancient art of wine tasting.
Admission to the Festival is free and wine tasting tickets are .50 each. Net proceeds are donated to Winnipeg Harvest. The International Wine Festival of Manitoba is presented by The Forks Market and Fenton’s Wine Merchants Limited.

Friday,October 14 5:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday, October 15 Noon to 6:30pm
Sunday, October 16 Noon to 6:30pm
