Kroker, Sid, Pam Goundry and Lionel Robert

This chapter examines the shellfish and snail recoveries in three sections: identity of freshwater clams (Mussel Identification), artifacts manufactured from shell (Worked Shell), and the aquatic snails and fingernail clams present due to riverine flooding (Naturally Deposited Specimens). Each section discusses methods, analysis, and results. Information on distribution, identification, and descriptions are presented in accompanying tables.
