Archaeological Monitoring of the Construction of the Westbound Component of the Provencher Paired Bridges

Quaternary Consultants Ltd.

Excavations to facilitate construction of the bridges were monitored, yielding a total of 12 Historic artifacts representing the following categories: architectural objects; manufacturing equipment; clothing; faunal remains; storage and dinnerware containers. Recoveries date to between 1881 and 1905. Stratigraphy is discussed in detail. Appendices include an artifact catalogue.
