"All Season Entertainment Kiosk" by Leticia Spence
The All Season Entertainment Kiosk was curated by Synonym Art Consultation and designed by Leticia Spence. Leticia is a two-spirit graphic designer and illustrator from Pimicikamak Cree Nation. Reflecting on The Forks’ history as a meeting place for over 6000 years, the inspiration of tobacco ties came to light. The red tobacco ties symbolize respect and healing, always carrying intention. Tobacco ties are offered in gratitude, prayer, or when asking for guidance.
