We Are All Treaty People. And so are you! Although the idea that you are a Treaty person may be new to you, all Canadians benefit from the Treaties. That’s why the Treaty Relations Commission of Manitoba likes to remind everyone that “We Are All Treaty People.” Since we all benefit from Treaties, we have a shared responsibility to maintain our Treaty relationship. To do this, we need to be sure that all Manitobans understand why we have Treaties and what the Treaties do.
