Turtle Tours is an Indigenous-led tourism company based in Manitoba, offering authentic Indigenous tours and experiences that connect guests to the land, its history, and the voices of its original Peoples. Through storytelling, guided walks, cultural teachings, and traditional food experiences, each offering invites reflection, understanding, and connection.
Whether exploring The Forks in Winnipeg where the rivers have met for thousands of years or visiting the heart of Riding Mountain National Park, Turtle Tours highlights Indigenous histories that are often left untold. Guests learn about the Treaty’s, historic trade routes, traditional food systems, and sustainable practices passed down through generations.
Food is an essential part of our storytelling. Guests can taste traditional offerings such as bannock, wild teas, or even pemmican inspired dishes, connecting more deeply with the land and its nourishing gifts.
Turtle Tours also works in partnership with Indigenous owned and operated businesses across Manitoba to build curated travel packages that reflect local knowledge and lived experience. We work closely with Indigenous Tourism Manitoba to bring visitors directly to Indigenous experiences, supporting community-led tourism and economic growth.
