Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) International Awareness Day

Please join us on May 10th in raising awareness for the underfunded and misunderstood debilitating disease, Myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) or myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). It's a complex chronic disease that presents with symptoms in multiple body systems and ME is a neurological disease according to the World Health Organization.

21,000 Manitobans suffer the debilitating effects of ME/CFS yet, up to 90% of these individuals go undiagnosed. The Manitoba ME/CFS Support Group is a local non-profit group which provides peer support and information to Manitobans living with ME/CFS.
