Many Nations, One Heartbeat | June 29

Join us for free daily programming from Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21) to Canada Day (July 1).

“Many Nations, One Heartbeat” is an 11-day celebration that bridges National Indigenous Peoples Day and Canada Day at The Forks. Each day offers free, family-friendly programming curated by creative directors Sunday and Victoria of Kíwétinohk Consulting Firm. It celebrates the Nations who made the Treaties, as well as those who reside on those Treaties today.

June 29 Treaty 6: Plains To Pines

  • 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Basketball Tournament at CN Stage and Field
  • 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: “For Louise” video screening, dance performance and artist talks at Treaty Relations Commission of Manitoba Agowiidiwinan Centre
