Fall Programming | Photo Walks

As part of our fall programming, join us on free photo walks hosted by Owen White (@owenmitchelll on Instagram). Through this series of photo walks, join him as he takes us on a tour of The Forks to discover and capture urban and landscape photography.

  • Sunday, September 21st - Photography and Camera Basics
    • Start Point: Beginning of Assiniboine River Walk
  • Sunday, September 28th - Finding Natural Frames in your Environment
    • Start Point: The Prairie Garden
  • Saturday, October 4th - Shutter Speed and Motion Blur
    • Start Point: Outside Visitor Services (The Kaboose) 
  • Saturday, October 11th - Photography Basics and Practice
    • Start Point: The Water Bus Dock
  • Saturday, October 18th - Photographing People
    • Start Point: The Prairie Garden

All you need to bring is a camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone), comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a sense of curiosity, and a passion for photography!
