Learn the basics of your sewing machine with fashion designer, pattern maker, seamstress, tailor and teacher Lisa Dyck.
So you’ve got a sewing machine… but it isn’t getting much use because you don’t know what you’re doing. Don’t fret, Lisa will walk you through the basics of using your sewing machine and general maintenance.
Bring your sewing machine to the workshop along with pins, bobbins, scissors, and thread
YOU’LL LEARN:
- THREAD YOUR MACHINE
- LEARN ABOUT THE MACHINE’S FEATURES
- TROUBLE SHOOT SMALL ISSUES (BELIEVE US THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT!)
- WHICH NEEDLE AND STITCH IS THE MOST APPROPRIATE FOR A VARIETY OF PROJECTS.
- YOU’LL INCORPORATE YOUR NEW SKILLS INTO SEWING A TABLET CASE A VARIETY OF FABRIC OPTIONS
