Treaty Education Day

Treaty Education Day is a special moment during Treaty Week to celebrate the learning taking place in classrooms across Manitoba.
The centre is proud to honour and showcase the 2025 & 2026 Red River Heritage Fair Treaty Education Award winners and the Governor General's Heritage Fairs National Showcase recipients.
Treaty Education Resource Launch
Thursday, May 21 | 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
The Agowiidiwinan Centre is showcasing the wonderful educational resources that can be used to further visitors understanding of the Numbered Treaties created by TRCM.
They also feature a resource developed by the National Film Board of Canada with a working relationship with Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning. The resource draws on the expertise of educators from across the country to demonstrate how Treaty Education can be infused into various subject areas and across all grade levels.
