From the traditional Cree name of “Nestawaya" to becoming the Forks, Indigenous history has always been first and foremost chapter one of the story of Winnipeg’s downtown. Come and hear the stories from millennia to today of this place and this space.

Movement on the Land: Yoga at Oodena
Join Modo Yoga Winnipeg and guest instructors for free outdoor yoga at Oodena. All levels are welcome. Optional donations will support Modo’s June Karma Partnership, Winnipeg Kiki Ballroom—a 2SQTBIPOC-centered space dedicated to learning, practicing, and growing the Winnipeg Kiki Ballroom community together. 

Bring a mat, water bottle, sunscreen, and come move with us!
