Join the legendary GeNie Baffoe for a free open dance class, where they'll be offering one-on-one workshops all about hip hop, house, afro, and funk moves.

This event is free and all are welcome to join!

See you in Room 201 (second floor of The Market, beside dConstruct) on Thursday, from 4pm - 7pm!

Located at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers, The Forks (also known as Nestawaya in Cree) has been a meeting place for over 6,000 years – located on the original lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Lakota peoples and resides in the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. This place also has deep ties with Dene and Inuit peoples, operates with water from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, and has welcomed people from all walks of life to trade, visit, and build community. In this spirit, all staff and administration here respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
