Sk8 Skates Skateboard Lessons
Starting July 4th until August 26th The Winnipeg Skateboarding Outreach Organization, in conjunction with Sk8 Skates, will be hosting free skateboard lessons for beginners at the Plaza at the Forks Skatepark. The lessons will run Wednesday - Sunday from 11:30am - 2pm. It is mandatory that participants bring a helmet, but skateboards are available for use.
Each participant (or their legal guardian if under the age of 18) will be required to sign a waiver at Sk8 Skates, located at the Forks Market, between 11am – 11:30am and then they will be teamed up with their instructor. If you already have a waiver filled out from a previous session, you are still required to go to Sk8 Skates between 11:00am - 11:30am to sign in. Space is limited and is first come, first serve. If you, or somebody you know is interested in taking up skateboarding, this is a perfect opportunity to see if it is right for you! For more information call (204) 452-4802.

Twin Flames Vintage Pop Up
Twin Flames is a vintage and contemporary clothing pop up based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They were established on November 4th, 2017. Our name was inspired by the definition of a ‘twin flame’ which means a perfect mirror of oneself, which reflects our goal to have a variety of unique pieces for everyone.
