Pursue Your Passion, brought to you by Health Canada with the purpose of educating youth and young adults on the risks of cannabis use, as it is becoming legal. This program aims to provide people with information in order for them to make informed choices on how the decisions they make now, will affect their future. Tap into your creative side with our interactive graffiti wall or DJ simulator. Or challenge yourself on our climbing wall. Come check out our engaging space and try some new activities!

Culture Days | Action!: Movie Directing Workshop
Film Training Manitoba will give participants a hands-on experience directing, shooting, and acting in a movie scene. This is a fun, interactive opportunity – you can choose to be the one calling the shots as the director, compose the scene through the camera lens, or star in the show as an actor!

Culture Days | Mini Culture Days
Join the Children’s Museum in the great outdoors as we participate in Culture Days for another year. Decorate a plywood bubble with bubble wrap stamps and paint. Then use it to help fill our Splish Splash tank! Stop by between 10:00AM - 3:00PM on Friday and between 11:00AM - 3:00PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Culture Days | Global Development Obstacle Course
K.I.D.S. Initiative is hosting an obstacle course open to all age and demographics! The obstacle course allows individuals to experience a fun and interactive activity while learning about the differences in materials and resources from one country to another. Our staff and volunteers offer information about our programs, how to get involved, and provide an educational experience for both children and adults. Activity and education is FREE, but should you wish to make a donation you can be rest assured that 100% of proceeds will go directly to our Lemolo IDP Camp Water Borehole Project!

Culture Days | Storytelling with the Buffalo Gals Drum Group
Culture Days Manitoba is excited to present a unique Storytelling Day with Winnipeg's own: Buffalo Gals Drum Group. Over 400 students will learn about drumming and sacred teachings from an indigenous perspective. Buffalo Gals will lead students to sing, dance, share and drum together. Lessons will cover discussions about the importance of drumming in indigenous communities and how they have seen it transform lives.

Culture Days | Egyptian Dance with Beth
From the land of pyramids and Cleopatra comes Egyptian dance (bellydance) and has developed over many centuries and reflects the joy and sorrow of life! From the Golden Age of Egyptian Cinema to the modern pop music of Cairo streets the dance is perfect for all ages, genders and physical fitness levels. It is as much fun to watch as it is to perform! Join me for an introductory class where I will teach you some basic techniques and then put them together in a fun little choreography to wow your friends and family with! Then sit back and relax and watch some fabulous performances by Beth and guests.
