The Manitoba Highland Dancers Association is pleased to hold their annual Mid-Canada Open Championships and the annual Lord Selkirk Premierships & Open Competition. Bike Week Winnipeg: 2019 Bike Week
Bike Week Winnipeg is back! Mark your calendars for our 2019 event June 17th-23rd.
It will be another jam-packed, week-long festival celebrating people riding bikes in our great city. There will be group rides, cultural events, workshops, and of course, the 13th annual Bike to Work Day featuring Pit Stops across the city from 6:30am-9:00 am followed by The Manitoba Harvest All Day Pit Stop at The Forks from 9:00am-3:00 pm.
Once again we will be closing the week off with a fun-filled Bike Week Celebration @ The Forks on June 23rd, 11:00am-4:00 pm.

Bike down for an evening of short films all about cycling, specially chosen for Bike Week Winnipeg. Headlining films include Bike for Bread, a film about the lives of Egyptian bread delivery by Swiss film-maker Claude Marthaler and SHIFT a half-hour documentary about the Indigenous youth from Carcross, Yukon who have spent the past 10 years converting traditional trails around their town in to a world-class mountain biking destination -- and transforming their community and themselves along the way. We'll also be showing a few other special treats - some homegrown!

Ride Don't Hide
Join the Canadian Mental Health Association on Sunday, June 23rd for the 8th annual Ride Don’t Hide, a nation-wide fundraising bike ride that brings mental health into the open. Through Ride Don’t Hide we can connect to our own mental health, to each other and to our communities. This is a ride, not a race, suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Choose from the 20 km Community Ride or the 4 km Family Ride!
This year will be the first year at The Forks and in partnership with Bike Week Winnipeg, a great finale to a terrific week of cycling. At the end of the ride – riders, volunteers and friends will meet under the canopy to enjoy light refreshments, live music, face-painting, decorating of bikes and opportunities to win some prizes!
You can register for the ride by visiting: RideDontHide and select Winnipeg under All Locations. What’s terrific is that 100% of funds raised through rider registration fees and personal fundraising will stay in MB and be used for direct mental health services and within the CMHA Learning Centre.
