Scenereo Speed Painting
Master visual and performance artist Scenereo will be painting on-site at The Forks, but it's chilly so it will be speed painting! He will be creating 2 new pieces in front of a new audience in 15-minute intervals, warming up his hands and paints in between these painting sprints!
Artist bio:
Nereo Zorro, who paints under the moniker "SCENERE0", is a multidisciplinary creative — painter, poet and performer born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Though he is primarily self-taught in the arts, Scenereo also has a technical background in building design, graphic design, video production and illustration.
Whether creating delicate pieces on canvas, scaling massive mural walls with a spray can, speed painting or using art as a form of therapy, Scenereo likes to remain flexible with his creative process.
With limitless vision and a drive to endlessly experiment, Scenereo approaches his art as if "everything in life is a medium". Inspiration is all around us and within us!
Come brave the cold and catch his creative process in motion while he does a few live painting demonstrations under The Forks canopy on February 23!
