Actif Epica
Actif Epica is a self supported ultra endurance event in extreme trail and weather conditions. It promotes health benefits associated with outdoor activity in winter and celebrates southeastern Manitoba communities and the surrounding prairie along the historic Crow Wing Trail. Icy temperatures, windswept trails, big skies and huge landscapes await participants as we Celebrate Human Resilience.
The event begins and ends at The Forks, and extending as far south as St Pierre MB before returning, travelling primarily on the historic Crow Wing trail.

Curious about cycling's fastest growing fad? Come and try out a fat tire bike at The Forks this winter. Trials are free. Pick up your fat tire from Woodcock at the Big Bike Chill Hub by the CN Stage and ride Winnipeg's newest trail- the Big Chill trail right at the Skate park! Find out if fat is for you!

Children's Museum: I Love to Read Month
Join us for I Love To Read Month! We'll be celebrating our love of reading with a variety of crafts, activities, and special guests every weekend from 11:00AM - 3:00PM. While you're here, be sure to record what you've read as you help our friendly I Love To Read caterpillar grow around our Welcome Centre, and enter a draw for your chance to win an I Love To Read gift basket!
