Free Photo Walks | A Walk Through Composition
Join us on a Free Photo Walk, hosted by Jan Oliver Borce (@_verborce on Instagram), as he presents a photography experience focused on composition.
This event will begin with a presentation on the principles of composition, followed by a site tour of The Forks, where photographers will put theory to practice. The session will end with an infomal Q+A, back at The Forks Market!
All you need to bring is a camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone), comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a sense of curiosity and a passion for photography!
The group will meet inside The Forks market, second floor, in the EQ3 lounge (between Jenna Rae Cakes and McNally Robinson).

In this one hour workshop, we will discuss the history of ice cream, the various styles, and how to make basic recipes.
You'll get an inside scoop on how Neon Cone's delicious ice cream is made! Plus, workshop attendees will have a chance to brainstorm and vote on a BRAND NEW flavour to develop and taste together!

The walk will teach you the fundamentals of portrait phtography and backdrops.
Who's your guide? Emmanuel Bongar , known as @emmanuelbongar on Instagram, is a 2019 Broadcasting Graduate of Tec Voc High School and has been honing his film and photography for over 6 years. He specializes in working with musicians, shooting numerous music videos and taking phtoos of their live shows.
What to bring? A camera (this photo walk focuses on smart phone photography but other cameras are welcome too), comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a sense of curiosity and a passion for photography
