HTFC x City of Winnipeg Waste Management Strategy Review
Hosted by HTFC Planning and Design, this event is a chance for the public to stop in to discuss and understand Winnipeg's Comprehensive Integrated Waste Management Strategy.
Here, guests will have the opportunitiy to learn about Winnipeg's garbage and recycling service, provide feedback on draft recommendations for the waste management strategy, explore information boards and booths about the 4R Depots and Compost Winnipeg, and enjoy possible youth activities like a waste-sorting game.
This is a come-and-go event, so drop by the EQ3 Lounge on the second floor of The Forks Market from 4pm-7pm.

Full Moon Ceremony
The Full Moon Ceremony is a collaboration between Sunshine House, Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc MMIWG Liaison Unit (MKO), The Link, Manitoba Moon Voices (MMVI), Women’s Health Clinic (WHC), Inaadiziwin, Native Clan Organization, Inc. (NCO), Manitoba League of Persons with Disabilities and Medicine Bear, Ka Ni Kanichihk. This Ceremony is open to the community at large; all genders and cultures are invited to join together for teachings about feminine energy’s relationship with Grandmother Moon. Anyone who identifies with feminine energy is invited to participate in the Ceremony. Those who identify with masculine energy are invited to attend, but will observe. If you can, we ask relatives to bring your own chair, rattles and/or drums, as well as a water container to fill and take home after the Ceremony (if you wish).
