Chāpān Teachings
Join The Women's Health Clinic on the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation for Chāpān Teachings. This event celebrates Indigenous healing traditions through laughter, music, and games. The program will offer a chance for guests to reconnect with cultural practices and explore natural ways of healing while fostering reconciliation and community.

Children's Museum | National Day For Truth & Reconciliation
Join the Children’s Museum for a day of learning and reflection on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Everyone is welcome to enjoy free admission and participate in special programming and activities from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Highlights include a collaborative nature mural, guest speakers like author David Robertson, a language workshops, and crafting activities. Visit the Children’s Museum website for more details.

Treaty Right to Education : Residential Schools and Reconciliation
On September 30th, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, the Agowiidiwinan Centre at The Forks will host a discussion featuring Treaty Commissioner Loretta Ross and Elders Florence and Philip Paynter. Topics include residential schools, treaty education, and reconciliation.
The event will conclude with a Q&A, closing remarks, and a smudge.
