This family-friendly exhibition examines the what, why, when, and how of mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, leeches, and other parasites. Learn why bloodsuckers are important to the ecosystem – and how to keep them out of YOUR system!

Lectures and Lagers | Michel Durand-Wood “You’ll Pay For This”
Join Michel Durand-Wood, author of “You’ll Pay For This: How we can afford a great city for everyone, forever” in the first Lectures and Lagers event. The creator of DearWinnipeg.com will read from his new book, followed by a Q&A discussion with moderator Johanna Hurme of 5468796 Architecture.
Tickets are by donation to The Forks Foundation (suggested donation of $20). You can also pre-order a copy of Michel's book from McNally Robinson to pick up at the event, and get it signed by Michel.
A limited selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase from the mobile bar.
