This family-friendly exhibition examines the what, why, when, and how of mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, leeches, and other parasites. Learn why bloodsuckers are important to the ecosystem – and how to keep them out of YOUR system!

Join us for free daily programming from Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21) to Canada Day (July 1).
“Many Nations, One Heartbeat” is an 11-day celebration that bridges National Indigenous Peoples Day and Canada Day at The Forks. Each day offers free, family-friendly programming curated by creative directors Sunday and Victoria of Kíwétinohk Consulting Firm. It celebrates the Nations who made the Treaties, as well as those who reside on those Treaties today.
June 26 Treaty 4: Where Sky Meets Prairie
- 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Red River Choir on the Johnston Terminal Stairs
- 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Storytelling of land and sky with Dr. Niigaan Sinclair at Treaty Relations Commission of Manitoba Agowiidiwinan Centre
