Explore the science of what’s biting you in the skin-crawling Attack Of The Bloodsuckers! exhibition at the Manitoba Children's Museum! This family-friendly exhibition examines the what, why, when, and how of mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, leeches, and other parasites. Learn why bloodsuckers are important to the ecosystem – and how to keep them out of YOUR system!

Live leech feedings will occur at 11:00 AM on the following days:

Kidsfest is a family-friendly festival hosted annually by the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival and features live performances, engaging workshops, fun activities and so much more.

The Ode'imin Collective Indigenous Month Pop-Up Kiosk Market will celebrate Indigenous people, communities, and artists with a pop-up kiosk featuring handmade products by Indigenous artisans.

June is National Indigenous Month, and it is a time to celebrate Indigenous culture, history, resilience, and contributions every day of the year.

Explore-Abilities Evening at the Children's Museum

Part of our Explore-Abilities Access Program, join us on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 5:30PM – 7:30PM for an Explore-Abilities Evening – a sensory-friendly museum experience designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences to have fun and enjoy interactive, hands-on learning in a safe and accessible facility!
