Film Screening
Join us for INSEPERABLE: A Service Animal Video Screening and Discussion on July 3 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at the CN Stage at The Forks. People in Manitoba who use supportive service animals continue to face barriers to services due to a lack of awareness. Accessibility is everyone's responsibility and knowledge empowers people to remove barriers. You will hear people who use service animals talk about their experiences, the key issues that affect them, and what they want the public to know about barriers they face. A series of short videos created by people who use service animals will be screened.
This event is free. Please RSVP by emailing: contact@mlpd.mb.ca. Bring a lawn chair if you wish. Videos are subtitled. ASL will be provided. The Forks is wheelchair accessible. We ask attendees to arrive scent-free. If you require other types of accessibility accommodations, please indicate them when you RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate.
