Attack of the Bloodsuckers! Exhibition

Explore the science of what’s biting you in the skin-crawling Attack Of The Bloodsuckers! exhibition at the Manitoba Children's Museum! This family-friendly exhibition examines the what, why, when, and how of mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, leeches, and other parasites. Learn why bloodsuckers are important to the ecosystem – and how to keep them out of YOUR system!

Live leech feedings will occur at 11:00 AM on the following days:

Summer Day Camps

Registration is now open for Summer Day Camps! Every week is a brand-new adventure where campers will create, discover, learn, and meet new friends as they explore exciting themes related to the museum's galleries and special events. Grouped with others of a similar age, campers will enjoy stimulating, age-appropriate activities all day long. With indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, time in the galleries, and special guests, your children are sure to have a memorable week full of adventure!

Join the Children's Museum all summer long for hands-on programming inspired by the season and their summer exhibition, Attack of the Bloodsuckers! From 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily, enjoy special activities that include crafts, games, and so much more.

StrEAT Feast Festival is a celebration of the various street foods and cultural specialties from various parts of the world found in Winnipeg and Manitoba. The festival aims to highlight local food and non-food vendors, live performances by local artists, local art, local businesses, cultural and/non-profit organizations and various programming and activities.
