Promoting Tales of the Red River - Métis Arts & Culture Day
Join Indigenous Tourism Manitoba in the North Market Atrium for a day of hands-on learning, storytelling, and cultural exchange. This event highlights the rich contributions of the Métis people to Canadian heritage, especially within the fur trade, and creates space for dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
Experience the creativity of Métis artists and knowledge keepers as they share their work, teachings, and traditions through interactive activities, storytelling, and arts workshops. The event is designed to be accessible and welcoming to all—schools, families, and community members alike, reducing financial barriers so everyone can participate.
Come connect, learn, and celebrate Métis culture in a way that is both educational and inspiring.
