Canada Day at The Forks
July 1 at The Forks is a celebration of the people, cultures, and traditions that make Canada home.
As Canada Day at The Forks approaches, visitors can look forward to a full day of free events throughout the site that will bring people together through music, storytelling, art and shared experiences.
Programming begins at 10:30 AM with a welcoming ceremony at Oodena Circle, followed by the citizenship ceremony at 11:00 AM. Visitors can write love notes, join a drum café, experience storytelling, enjoy cultural performances, and participate in hands-on activities for all ages. The day concludes at CN Stage and Field, where visitors will enjoy a Sobr Market Patio and Turtle Island games while listening to live music featuring Mitchell Makoons, Brandi Vezina, TommyPHYLL, and headliner The Irvin Miller Band.
