Play at The Forks

The Forks invites everyone to get outside and get active with table tennis, basketball, and free workouts – all part of the ongoing Play at The Forks initiative.

Thie 2025 summer's Play programming runs July 3-August 31 and includes:

  • Skateboarding with Pitikwé:
    Thursday-Sunday
    12 - 4pm in July and August
    At The Plaza Skatepark
  • Basketball with Basketball Manitoba:
    Mondays and Wednesdays
    6pm - 8pm in July and August
    At CN Field and Stage
  • Drop-in Dance with Dance with Genie:
    Tuesdays
    6pm - 8pm in July and August
    At CN Field and Stage
  • Table Tennis with Sport Manitoba:
    Thursdays
    6pm - 8pm in July and August
    On Grass Along CN Field and Stage
  • Mushroom Foraging with River City Mushrooms:
    Thursdays July 10, July 24, Aug 7 and Aug 21
    6pm - 6:30pm
    In the Public Orchard

This year’s Play at The Forks elements will be available all summer, and are free and open to the public for pick-up games.

Table Tennis can also be played inside The Forks Market, year round. Check out the indoor tables in front of Phantom Amusement, in the north aisle of The Market.

Note: if the CN Stage and Field is booked for a large event, Play elements will be stored and returned to the area once the event is complete.
