The Historic Rail Bridge marks the optimal spot to overlook meeting of the Assiniboine and the mighty Red rivers. Originally built in 1914, the bridge was converted to its current use as a lighted crossing for pedestrians and cyclists. It also occasionally serves as an open-air art gallery and is a vital link in the city’s active transportation network.
