Children's Museum: Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes

Explore a Winnipeg holiday tradition for all generations! The Children's Museum is pleased to be the home of the last original Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes Display from the ninth floor annex of the Eaton's downtown store-- fully restored and open to the public for a limited time. 

Visitors of all ages will be delighted by the fifteen fun, fairytale vignettes (some of which can be traced back as early as the 1940s) that make up this classic holiday favourite including Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, Three Blind Mice, and more.

We would like to invite you to an event in support of the Manitoba Prostate Centre in conjunction with bringing awareness to Men’s Health for the month of November. We will also be accepting donations on behalf of Cancer Care Manitoba and be raffling off a few Grooming Packages from our Heartbreakers Grooming Products line.

This annual event is piled high with tons of unusual fun! Guests enjoy a non-traditional spaghetti breakfast followed by holiday-themed activities including a snowman craft, Elfie Selfies, decorating holiday cookies with our special guests from Sweet Impressions, and a tour of the Eaton’s Fairytale Vignettes. And shhh, don’t tell anyone but we’ve heard that Santa will even be surprising us with a visit! After the event, guests are invited to stay and play in the galleries!

The Forks Market welcomes the Anna's House Craft Sale from December 13 to December 15 to support orphaned children in Mekele, Ethopia. All crafts are donated from Manitoba Hutterite colonies and include items such as quilts and rugs. You can also adopt-a-quilt, which will then be donated to the MA MAWI WI CHI ITATA Centre. Indigenous Storytelling + Bannock Making |1:30 - 3:30 PM

Join Indigenous Elders inside the teepees for a traditional experience of making bannock and sharing stories.

Soul on Ice | 1:00 - 4:00 PM

The Canopy Skating Rink is transformed into a dance floor on ice. DJs Hunnicut and Co-op spin your favourite tunes while you spin around the ice.

I AM Fitness stands for improve and maintain! Bring your runners and a bottle of water and join this low impact FREE fitness class. Classes will be alternating between walking and aerobics.
