Children's Museum: Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes

Explore a Winnipeg holiday tradition for all generations! The Children's Museum is pleased to be the home of the last original Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes Display from the ninth floor annex of the Eaton's downtown store-- fully restored and open to the public for a limited time. 

Visitors of all ages will be delighted by the fifteen fun, fairytale vignettes (some of which can be traced back as early as the 1940s) that make up this classic holiday favourite including Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, Three Blind Mice, and more.

Loving Barber: Cuts for Cancer

We would like to invite you to an event in support of the Manitoba Prostate Centre in conjunction with bringing awareness to Men’s Health for the month of November. All our proceeds from this day will be donated to Cancer Care Manitoba to show gratitude for the work this organization does in our community! We will also be accepting donations on behalf of Cancer Care Manitoba and be raffling off a few Grooming Packages from our Heartbreakers Grooming Products line.

Shave for a good cause! We will have a bar set up and the very talented DJ Anthony OKS will be playing some music from 1-5pm.

I AM Fitness for Seniors


I AM Fitness stands for improve and maintain! Bring your runners and a bottle of water and join this low impact FREE fitness class. Classes will be alternating between walking and aerobics. Classes are catered to ages 55+ and will take place under the Canopy, weather permitting. Maximum of 25 participants per class. Availability is first-come-first-served.

A Year With Frog and Toad

Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville and part make believe, A Year with Frog and Toad follows two friends whose friendship endures throughout the seasons.

Relaxed performances or sensory friendly performances are designed to make shows more welcoming to audience members who may experience challenges in a regular theatre setting. This includes people with autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, sensory concerns and first-time theatregoers.

Join Indigenous Elders inside the teepees for a traditional experience of making bannock.

Soul on Ice | 1:00 - 4:00 PM

The Canopy Skating Rink is transformed into a dance floor on ice. DJs Hunnicut and Co-op spin your favourite tunes while you spin around the ice.

Snowshoe Rentals | Jan. 12, 19, & 26 only | 1:00 - 4:00 PM

Come trek around The Forks on a pair of Heritage Snowshoes! This season, you can step into a pair of heritage snowshoes and experience winter the way people have for centuries. Location Orientation Circle, next to the children’s playground. Rentals available at The Parks Canada Kiosk in The Forks Market.
