Children's Museum: Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes
Explore a Winnipeg holiday tradition for all generations! The Children's Museum is pleased to be the home of the last original Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes Display from the ninth floor annex of the Eaton's downtown store-- fully restored and open to the public for a limited time.
Visitors of all ages will be delighted by the fifteen fun, fairytale vignettes (some of which can be traced back as early as the 1940s) that make up this classic holiday favourite including Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, Three Blind Mice, and more.

WAG @ The Forks: Card Making
We’ve opened a WAG@The Forks Maker Station in the Johnston Terminal building for the Holiday Season. Until January 15th we will be hosting free drop-in art-making activities for the public. Our current activity is card making. The “make a card, take a card, leave a card” activity is lots of fun for all ages!

Indigenous Is Not a Genre: Indigenous Perspectives on the Music Industry Presented by Indigenous Music West
This will be a conversation, for a broad audience, about the music industry, from an Indigenous perspective with the direction of conversation moving towards Indigenous identity and labels within music, marketing, and presentation. We’ll discuss the role of ceremony, Elders, women, men, children, two-spirit, family, community, and how the music industry can learn from this. We’ll also cover cultural appropriation, reconciliation, and the autonomy and identity among artists and industry professionals who identify as Indigenous and how this contributes to their music career.

Glacial At The Forks
The Forks is hosting a special live performance by Royal Canoe as we welcome the winning designs of the 2020 Warming Huts competition.
Royal Canoe will be playing instruments and triggers constructed from ice harvested from Lake Muir in FortWhyte Alive to perform some of their signature songs in a venue built in collaboration with renowned ice architect Luca Roncoroni.
This event is free to attend. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
