Children's Museum: Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes

Explore a Winnipeg holiday tradition for all generations! The Children's Museum is pleased to be the home of the last original Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes Display from the ninth floor annex of the Eaton's downtown store-- fully restored and open to the public for a limited time. 

Visitors of all ages will be delighted by the fifteen fun, fairytale vignettes (some of which can be traced back as early as the 1940s) that make up this classic holiday favourite including Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, Three Blind Mice, and more.

WAG @ The Forks: Card Making

We’ve opened a WAG@The Forks Maker Station in the Johnston Terminal building for the Holiday Season. Until January 15th we will be hosting free drop-in art-making activities for the public. Our current activity is card making. The “make a card, take a card, leave a card” activity is lots of fun for all ages!

A Year With Frog and Toad

Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville and part make believe, A Year with Frog and Toad follows two friends whose friendship endures throughout the seasons.

The Saturday, December 28 at 4 pm is a relaxed performance. Relaxed performances or sensory friendly performances are designed to make shows more welcoming to audience members who may experience challenges in a regular theatre setting. This includes people with autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, sensory concerns and first-time theatregoers.
