Uncommon Pours - Fall for Autumn Wines

Uncommon Pours - Fall for Autumn Wines

Wine tasting 101 with a seasonal theme. As fall weather arrives, our wine tastes begin to change. While we may still occasionally crave that racy fresh white or savoury dry rosé, in the autumn months we tend to look for cozy, comforting wines -- similar to the way our food tastes change to craving richer, heartier dishes. But what is it in the wine that fulfills these longings?

This Master of Wine led Tasting will explore the different styles of wine that satisfy those cozy fall hankerings and answer the question "why?". Through a tasting of six wines from the new fall wine list at The Common we will learn about the flavours and textures found across different grape varieties, countries and regions. You may just discover a new favourite, or at least discover what it is that drives your own taste buds.

7PM Seating: SOLD OUT
