Send + Receive | A Festival of Sound
Send + Receive is an international festival of experimental music and sound art. This festival is one of the longest-running media arts festivals in North America focusing exclusively on sound. The annual festival showcases the innovative work of Manitoban, Canadian, and international artists.
For this twenty-fifth year of programming, Send + Receive will be hosting events at The Forks Market on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.
In Room 201, located on the second floor of The Forks Market, live performances by Senile Felines (Carl Stone, Ned Rothenberg, Soo Yeon Lyuh), Maria Moles, and Yoyu will begin at 7:30pm, and doors will open at 7:00pm. A donation of $20.00 is suggested for entry, though all are welcome regardless of ability to pay.

Free Photo Walks | Finding Balance and Symmetry
Join us on a Free Photo Walk, hosted by Anthony Urso (@anthony_urso on Instagram), as he takes us on a tour of The Forks to discover discover and capture urban and landscape photography.
All you need to bring is a camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone), comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a sense of curiosity and a passion for photography!
